Picasso's linocut titled
Picador
This is a linocut print by Pablo Picasso. Picasso began experimenting with linocut in 1958 and developed a "reduction" method, where he used a single block of linoleum to print each color, progressively carving it down. The bullfighting theme, with the figure of the picador, was a subject that Picasso revisited throughout his life. |
