US Six Sheet The Raven

Plot Summary
The story is only loosely based on Edgar Allan Poe's poem and takes a comedic turn.
Dr. Erasmus Craven (Vincent Price), a melancholic sorcerer, is mourning the apparent death of his wife Lenore.
One night, a raven taps at his window. The raven is actually Dr. Adolphus Bedlo (Peter Lorre), a less-skilled magician whom the powerful and evil Dr. Scarabus (Boris Karloff) transformed into a bird after a magic duel.
After Craven restores Bedlo to his human form, Bedlo reveals he saw Lenore (Hazel Court) at Scarabus's castle and she is alive.
Craven, Bedlo, and Bedlo's son Rexford (Jack Nicholson) travel to Scarabus's castle to confront the sorcerer and uncover the truth.
The film culminates in a humorous yet visually impressive duel of magic between Craven and Scarabus, leading to the castle catching fire as the heroes escape.
The movie is the fifth in the series of films known as the "Corman-Poe cycle," all produced and directed by Roger Corman and released by American International Pictures.
