Plot: Set just after the American Civil War, a businessman and inventor named Victor Barbicane creates a powerful new explosive called Power X. They embark on the journey with Barbicane's assistant and Nicholl's daughter, who stowed away. Nicholl attempts to sabotage the ship's return journey, leading to a suspenseful finale. |
