Antikbar One sheet vintage London Underground poster is titled
"Royal London, Buckingham Palace", and was created by the artist John Bainbridge in 1953.
The poster was part of a series promoting travel to popular London sights via the Underground system. The artwork depicts a stylised Household Guard (Queen's Guard) standing in front of a sentry box marked with the "ER II" royal cipher (for Elizabeth Regina II), with Buckingham Palace visible in the background. The London Underground's roundel logo can be seen in the bottom right corner.
