It was designed by the Swedish artist Carl Meurling (1879-1929). Event Details Location: Gothenburg, Sweden Date: May - July 1923 Context: The exhibition was part of the larger Gothenburg Tercentennial Jubilee Exposition, a world's fair held to celebrate the city's 300th anniversary. Significance: The broader Jubilee Exhibition was a major cultural and industrial event that led to the establishment of several lasting city landmarks, including the Liseberg amusement park, the Gothenburg Museum of Art, and the Botanical Garden. Artist: Carl Meurling also designed the poster for the International Civil Aviation Exhibition, which occurred concurrently with the automobile show.
