Dirty Disney - Mounted (Poster) Small poster infamous "Disneyland Memorial Orgy" poster, illustrated by renowned Mad Magazine artist Wally Wood. It was originally published as a centerfold in the May 1967 issue of Paul Krassner's underground satirical magazine, The Realist, following the death of Walt Disney. Content: The highly controversial image depicts various beloved Disney characters engaged in explicit, bawdy, and scurrilous behavior within the grounds of Disneyland. Historical Context: The poster was a highlight of the counterculture magazine and caused a sensation when first published in 1967. Due to its popularity, it was also printed and sold as a standalone poster, leading to widespread pirated versions. Lawsuit: The extensive distribution of the pirated versions prompted the Disney corporation to file a lawsuit, which was eventually settled out of court. The original posters were subsequently pulled from distribution and many were destroyed.
