One sheet
promotional item for a special programming event on the Los Angeles-based pay cable channel, Z Channel. In April-June 1986, Z Channel celebrated its twelfth anniversary by airing a three-month retrospective of the entire body of work of Charlie Chaplin.
The main image on the poster is a famous still from Chaplin's 1921 silent film classic, The Kid, which was his first feature-length movie. The image features Chaplin's iconic character, "The Tramp," peering around a corner with the young Jackie Coogan, as a police officer stands in the background. |
