Concert Details Title: The concert and subsequent Grammy-nominated live album were titled Sondheim, Etc.: Bernadette Peters Live at Carnegie Hall. Musical Direction: The orchestra was conducted by Peters' long-time friend and musical director, Marvin Laird. Repertoire: The evening included a wide array of music, featuring songs from her album I'll Be Your Baby Tonight, an exclusive second act of Stephen Sondheim material, as well as songs by other composers like Jerry Herman and J.D. Souther. Highlights: Notable songs performed included "Broadway Baby," "No One Is Alone," "Time Heals Everything," "Johanna," and an encore of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas". Additional Information The concert was recorded live by Angel Records and released as a successful album in March 1997. A second album of material from the concert, Sondheim Etc., Etc. (The Rest of It), was released in 2005.
