Opening Act: Iron Butterfly, who were billed as "LA's Hottest New Rock Group!". They would record their hit album In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida a few months later.

Performance Notes: During The Doors' set, lead singer Jim Morrison departed from the usual set list to recite poetry that would later appear on the album The Soft Parade. Audience reactions were mixed, with some "straight" people reportedly leaving.
