It is a remake of the 1937 film Love Is News, which also starred Power. Plot Summary The story follows a wealthy grocery store heiress, Sara Farley (Tierney), who has been the subject of a series of unflattering and fictional newspaper articles written by journalist Thomas Jefferson Tyler (Power). To get an honest story, Tyler uses a fake name to meet Sara while she is on vacation in Sun Valley, and they begin a friendship. When Sara discovers his true identity, she seeks revenge by falsely announcing to the press that they are married.
