This date was Benjamin Franklin's 262nd birthday, which inspired the $100 bill design of the poster. Admission: $2.50 at the door. Significance: This concert was the grand opening for the Carousel Ballroom under management by the Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane, and the Dead debuted two songs: "China Cat Sunflower" and "The Eleven".
