Pool of Tears

After Fine art print by Salvador Dali, " The Pool of Tears," an illustration by Salvador Dalí for a 1969 edition of Lewis Carroll's book, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. This artwork is part of a portfolio of prints created by Dalí, which includes one etching and 12 heliogravures, one for each chapter of the book. The style is consistent with Dalí's Surrealist movement, featuring dreamlike imagery and a figure of Alice with a skipping rope, which was a recurring motif for the artist. The original portfolio was published by Maecenas Press-Random House and has since become one of Dalí's most sought-after suites of art.
