One sheet poster is for the 1959 British comedy-horror film
The Headless Ghost, produced by B-movie specialist Herman Cohen. The film was quickly produced in just three weeks to serve as the bottom half of a double feature with Horrors of the Black Museum.
Movie Plot
The story follows three university exchange students—two Americans, Bill and Ronnie, and Ingrid from Denmark—who take a tour of the supposedly haunted Ambrose Castle in England. Intrigued by legends, they hide inside to spend the night and encounter several spirits, including the 4th Earl of Ambrose.
They meet Malcolm, a ghost beheaded 600 years earlier, who is cursed to wander the castle until his head is reunited with his body. The students eventually find a secret chamber, perform an incantation, and successfully help the ghost "get ahead" by reattaching his missing noggin.
