Movie Synopsis
Set in the exotic locales of New Guinea, the story follows Steve Singleton (John Payne), a schooner captain who is framed for a crime and has his boat, The Seeker, stolen by a devious rival named "Jumbo" Johnson (Forrest Tucker).
To reclaim his vessel and his reputation, Singleton joins an expedition to recover gold bullion from a plane that crashed in the jungle. Along the way, he rescues a passenger from the downed plane, Katherine Shelley (Rhonda Fleming), and must navigate a treacherous landscape filled with double-crossing partners, crocodiles, and hostile natives.
