Movie Overview
Released on October 14, 1941, Sea Raiders is a 12-chapter cliffhanger serial. It was the second of three serials produced by Universal featuring the popular youth groups The Dead End Kids and The Little Tough Guys.
Plot Summary
The story follows a group of waterfront youths who stumble upon a ring of Nazi saboteurs (the "Sea Raiders") operating in the United States. Led by villains Carl Tonjes and Elliott Carlton, the saboteurs use a specialized boat to sink Allied merchant ships and attempt to steal an experimental torpedo.
The "Kids" track the agents to a secret island hideout, facing various perils along the way, including being blasted from the air, trapped in tunnels, and even wrestling with a panther.
