| Photographed recto and verso in frame. removed from frame, dehinged the art (pressure sensitive tape was used by the framer to attach the art to the matt. I then photographed recto and verso outside of frame. Object was examined using tactile and visual means including magnification and blacklight. |
| In order to flatten the object, it would require humidification to relax the paper, this will also cause the paper to expand and could result in fracturing of the varnish layer. |
