British Railways travel poster for Tamworth Castle in Staffordshire, featuring artwork by British artist Ronald Maddox (1930–2018).
Created around 1958–1965, the poster was part of the "See Britain by Train" series for the London Midland Region. It depicts the Norman castle atop its artificial mound, which the poster notes was fortified circa 913 by Ethelfleda, daughter of Alfred the Great.
