One sheet Pan AM This vintage travel poster, titled
"Cairo (via Beirut) by Clipper," was issued in the early 1950s (circa 1950–1953) to promote flights to Egypt. It was a joint advertisement for Pan American World Airways (Pan Am) and Middle East Airlines.
The artwork features classic Egyptian imagery, including the Great Sphinx, the Giza Pyramids, hieroglyphics, a person on a camel, and traditional sailing vessels called feluccas. The "Clipper" name refers to Pan Am's famous fleet of long-range aircraft used for international travel during that era |
