Dinosaur

Dinosaur - After2 (Poster) Original graphite on paper illustration this is concept art of a giant amphibian created by special effects artist Jim Danforth. The drawing was produced for the abandoned 1976 remake titled The Legend of King Kong. In the planned film, this creature was intended to replace the Brontosaurus from the original 1933 movie. While it is a fictional creature, its design shares visual characteristics with several real extinct animals, such as: Megalania: A giant monitor lizard from the Pleistocene. Diadectes: A heavily built, reptile-like amphibian from the early Permian. Caseid pelycosaurs: Such as Angelosaurus, known for their small heads and large, rounded bodies.
