Cena de Circo

After Fien art by Chagall color lithograph by the Russian-French artist Marc Chagall titled L'écuyère (The Woman Circus-Rider), created in 1956. The piece is also known by its French title, Femme Ecuyere, and was published in the art magazine Derrière le Miroir. The circus was a recurring theme in Chagall's work, which is evident in the dreamlike composition and vibrant colors of this piece. This lithograph is an example of Chagall's Impressionist style and features the artist's signature use of bold colors like red and blue. It was printed by Mourlot in Paris and published by Arte Adrien Maeght, with an edition size of 2000.
