Attraction size, Sandinista! is the fourth studio album by the English rock band The Clash, released on December 12, 1980. It was a triple album containing 36 tracks, which experimented with a variety of musical genres including funk, reggae, jazz, gospel, and rap. The title of the album refers to the Sandinista National Liberation Front, a political party in Nicaragua. The album's cover photo was taken by Pennie Smith behind King's Cross station in North London, before the area was redeveloped. |
