London Fly TWA - Mounted (Poster) One sheet "London Fly TWA" travel poster was designed by the acclaimed American artist David Klein (1918–2005) around 1960. Klein was a prolific poster artist known for his vibrant, mid-century modern designs for Trans World Airlines (TWA) during the 1950s and 1960s. His work for TWA helped define the visual language of the "Jet Age". Landmark Identification The poster features stylized architectural renderings of famous monuments in London's Westminster area: Westminster Abbey: The dominant structure on the right, shown in detail with its gothic architecture and stained-glass motifs. Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben): Depicted on the left in a more ethereal, light green and blue style.
