(Woman tending sheep) is a black and white etching created by the French artist Jean-Ferdinand Chaigneau in the 1870s. The work is also known by the French title Femmes gardant des moutons.
Chaigneau was a painter and etcher known for his pastoral scenes and depictions of sheep. This etching was created for the "Société des Aquafortistes," an association of artists founded by publisher Alfred Cadart.
