Original U.S. One sheet style B, 1937. This poster came to us directly from auction purchase. It is mounted on grade A duck 12 canvas with a Masa substrate. Poster is in very fine condition with minimal cosmetic restoration.
Examination on a light table reveals extremely minor (approximately .32 in.) paper losses: middle horizontal fold line at the center, lower horizontal fold line at the center and in the blue above the "n" and above the "t".
Blacklight reveals paper-color airbrushing to the upper right horizontal fold line approximately 6.5 inches long by 1 inch wide. Under normal light this paint is nearly invisible.
There is detail cosmetic restoration, done with colored pencil along the fold lines within the imagery and in the paper color.
There is an extremely light 3/4 inch mat burn that runs along the entire perimeter of the poster. |
