| The object was lightened 3 times in the first treatment cycle and an additional 3 times during a second treatment cycle. The object required a more aggressive approach because of the staining that was imparted by the mat, backing board and adhesive.
Further lightening treatment is not advisable, as it would put the signature at risk of loss and greatly increase the risk of physical damage to the paper. |
