| Poster paper is rotten in many places, so we performed a gelatin treatment facing...mounted face down on hollytex to cure..then mounted face up on linen with hollytex facing intact, then after re-curing, hollytex facing was removed. We recommend no further action either restoratively, or conservatorially should be taken as the paper is extremely fragile and we feel that such actions would cause further damage. |
