1968 Rallye Monte Carlo
Attraction size 1968 Porsche factory racing poster designed by Erich Strenger, commemorating Porsche's legendary 1-2 finish at the 1968 Rallye Monte Carlo.

Historical Significance

• The First Win: This marked Porsche’s very first overall victory at the Monte Carlo Rally. It kickstarted a historic hat-trick of consecutive Monte Carlo wins for the Porsche 911 (1968, 1969, and 1970).
• The Drivers: The car shown in the photo is the #210 Porsche 911T driven to 1st place overall by British driver Vic Elford ("Quick Vic") and co-driver David Stone.
• The Clean Sweep: Right beneath them, Finnish rally legend Pauli Toivonen and Martti Tiukkanen took 2nd place overall in their Porsche 911S.
