Half sheet 1985 KangaROOS hand signed promotional poster featuring legendary Chicago Bears running back Walter "Sweetness" Payton alongside his personal 1983 Lamborghini Countach 5000 S.The Story Behind the Photo The Reward: Payton was gifted this specific vehicle in 1984 by his footwear sponsor, KangaROOS, to celebrate him breaking the NFL's all-time rushing record.The Car: This Countach 5000 S is incredibly rare—it is one of only 38 examples imported to the United States, and one of only two finished in the striking "Blu Acapulco" dark blue paint over a champagne interior. Payton famously drove it around the Chicago area with the personalized license plate "WP 34". The Brand: At the height of his career, Payton was a major ambassador for KangaROOS sneakers (famously known for having small zippered pockets built into the sides). He routinely wore them and even had the kangaroo silhouette logo drawn onto his game-day ankle tape.This particular vintage poster also includes Payton's facsimile signature printed in white ink in the upper right quadrant, alongside a smaller portrait insert of him wearing his signature "Roos" headband and uniform number 34.
