the iconic 10th Biennial Wilderness Conference promotional poster from 1967.Art and Event Background Artists: Designed by the legendary psychedelic poster art duo Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley under Mouse Studios.Event: Commissioned by the Sierra Club to advertise their environmental conservation conference held from April 7–9, 1967, at the San Francisco Hilton Hotel.Imagery: The central graphic depicts a Native American warrior on horseback with arms outstretched. The illustration is directly based on Cyrus Dallin's famous 1908 statue titled Appeal to the Great Spirit located in Boston.Cultural Impact: The poster is highly prized among vintage collectors for merging 1960s Haight-Ashbury hippie counterculture graphics with early environmental activism.Collector Versions Original first printings of this historic piece are cataloged in classic rock art archives as AOR 2.365. Authentic historical copies generally fall into three design versions:A black-only ink edition.A dual black and green ink edition lacking the Bindweed printer credit (typically considered the primary first printing variant).A multi-color version highlighting black and green ink with a gold background layer.

If it has relied on significant evaluation assistance from any individual or individuals in the performance of this evaluation or the appropriation of this evaluation report, PM-LAPG has named such individuals and disclosed the specific task performed in this evaluation report. PM-LAPG certifies that any individual so named is qualified to the same extent as PM to perform the task. PM-LAPG has not authorized anyone to make a change to any item in this evaluation report, therefore, any change made to this evaluation is unauthorized and PM-LAPG will not take responsibility for it.
VI) The Client may not disclose or distribute this Evaluation Report to any potential purchasers of the subject property without first obtaining PM-LAPG's prior written consent. This consent must be obtained before this evaluation report may be disclosed or distributed to any other party, including, but not limited to, the public through advertising, public relations, news, sales, or other media.
