Small original vintage British railway letterpress poster designed by renowned cartoonist and illustrator Kenneth Bird (best known by his pen name "Fougasse").Poster Details Purpose: It was produced by the London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) to advertise special excursion train travel to the horse racing event at Hamilton Park Racecourse in Scotland.Date: Saturday, 17th June, 1933.Art Style: The top panel features a stylized, minimalist Art Deco illustration of four jockeys side-by-side racing toward the finish line, contrasting with classic bold block typography underneath.
