The 14-hour marathon event was captured by television station WLWT and broadcast nationally later that summer as a 90-minute special titled Midsummer Rock.Venue Significance: This was one of the last major events held at Crosley Field, the historic home of the Cincinnati Reds, before it closed later that same month on June 24, 1970.
