Mohammad Mosaddegh (1882–1967), a prominent Iranian politician who served as the Prime Minister of Iran from 1951 to 1953.
Mosaddegh is best known for his government's nationalization of the Iranian oil industry, which had previously been controlled by the British through the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company. His administration also introduced a wide range of social reforms.
