Plot
The story follows Michael Morgan (played by Robert Young), a retired magician who runs a business selling illusions to other performers and is dedicated to exposing fraudulent psychics and spiritualists. When a demonology expert is murdered under mysterious, seemingly supernatural circumstances, Morgan gets involved in the investigation. He comes to the aid of a young woman named Judy Barclay (Florence Rice), whose life is threatened, and uses his expertise in magic tricks to help the police solve a series of locked-room style murders.
