Synopsis
The plot of the film revolves around a love triangle set in the boxing world. Jack Sander, a carnival boxer nicknamed "One-Round" because of his quick knockouts, meets and marries Mabel. Their life changes when the heavyweight champion, Bob Corby, arrives, defeats Jack in a challenge match, and subsequently hires him as a sparring partner. A complex relationship develops between Mabel and Bob, leading to professional and personal jealousy that culminates in a final, climactic boxing match between the two men for both the title and Mabel's love.
