The plot of the film follows a house cat named Tabitha who witnesses her owner, Ella Venable, being murdered by her husband and two servants for her inheritance. The cat, as the sole witness, becomes determined to get revenge on the culprits. As the cat's behavior becomes more ominous, the murderers try to kill it, but each of them meets a horrific end. Ella's niece, Beth, and a detective investigate the disappearance and the strange deaths.
