The 1970 Monaco Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held on May 10, 1970, at the Circuit de Monaco. The race is particularly famous for its dramatic finish, where Jochen Rindt took the victory in his Lotus 49 after the race leader, Jack Brabham, crashed at the final corner on the last lap. This was also the last Formula One race for driver Bruce McLaren, who was killed five days before the next race
