Cologne
One sheet, Cologne via Harwich
is a vintage travel poster created by the artist Fred Taylor in approximately 1925. It was produced for the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote rail and sea services to Cologne, Germany, via Harwich, Essex. The poster shows a view of Cologne Cathedral and Gross St. Martin church from across the Rhine River. The poster promotes two services: "Flushing Daily" and "The Hook Nightly".
The original poster measures approximately 40 x 25 inches (1016 x 635mm) and is part of the Science Museum Group Collection.
