Mobile, 1973 American neo-noir action-thriller film and the second movie to feature Clint Eastwood as San Francisco police inspector Harry Callahan, also known as "Dirty Harry". The movie was directed by Ted Post and written by John Milius and Michael Cimino.
The film's plot centers on Harry Callahan investigating a series of assassinations of criminals who have avoided conviction through legal loopholes. He soon discovers that the killings are being carried out by a group of vigilante police officers. The film explores the theme that despite Harry's reputation for tough methods, he is not a vigilante and believes in the legal system.
