The Raven
One sheet, The Raven
is a 1963 American comedy-horror film directed by Roger Corman. The movie is loosely based on Edgar Allan Poe's 1845 poem of the same name and is part of the Corman-Poe cycle of films.
The film stars a trio of iconic horror actors:

Vincent Price as Dr. Erasmus Craven, a sorcerer mourning the death of his wife.
Peter Lorre as Dr. Adolphus Bedlo, a rival magician who has been transformed into a raven.
Boris Karloff as Dr. Scarabus, an evil wizard who is the rival of Dr. Craven's father.

The movie also features a young Jack Nicholson in one of his earlier roles as Rexford Bedlo, Peter Lorre's character's son. The plot follows Craven as he helps the talking raven regain his human form. The two then journey to Scarabus's castle after Bedlo claims to have seen Craven's supposedly deceased wife, Lenore, there. The film is known for its blend of horror and humor, with a memorable climactic duel between the magicians
