Malini
One sheet reproduction, Max Malini (born Max Katz Breit; 1875-1942) was a magician who was known for performing close-up and parlor magic for the wealthy and influential, including presidents and royalty. The poster in the image advertises his "Around the World" tour.
Some of his signature tricks included:

The blindfold card stab: Malini would have a lady from the audience mix and scatter a deck of cards. After being blindfolded, he would ask for the name of a card and then stab a knife into the deck, impaling the correct card.
Producing a block of ice: In one routine, he would borrow a gentleman's hat to perform a coin trick. When he lifted the hat, a large block of ice would be revealed.
The button-biting stunt: Malini would bite a button off a person's jacket, display it in his teeth, and then magically restore it to the jacket.

Malini traveled the world eight times, performing for kings, emperors, czars, and presidents. He was known for his sleight of hand, impeccable timing, and master of misdirection. Many famous magicians, including Dai Vernon and Ricky Jay, have been inspired by him.
