He must use his new abilities to thwart Nazi spies, led by a famous Hollywood actor, who want to use the rocket for an evil plan.
The film was directed by Joe Johnston and stars Billy Campbell as Cliff Secord, Jennifer Connelly as his girlfriend Jenny Blake, and Timothy Dalton as the villain, Neville Sinclair. Although it was not a box office success, the film received positive reviews and has since become a cult classic. The Art Deco style of the film's production design is also a notable feature, with the poster reflecting this aesthetic.
The visual style of the poster is an homage to the artistic styles of the 1930s, the era in which the film is set. The artist, John Mattos, won an award for the poster, which was named one of the 100 best movie posters of all time by the American Film Institute.
