Hoodoo Gurus
Small poster, Stoneage Romeos
is the debut album by the Australian rock group Hoodoo Gurus, released in 1984. The album's cover art, designed by Yanni Stumbles, is a cartoonish tribute to the 1966 film One Million Years B.C., featuring dinosaurs and bright colors.
The album received the "Best Debut Album" award at the 1984 Countdown Awards. It is known for its blend of garage rock, power pop, and cowpunk, with singles including "My Girl," "Leilani," "Tojo," and "I Want You Back". The title itself is a reference to a Three Stooges short film of the same name.
