Plot: James Bond pursues his arch-nemesis, the head of the SPECTRE organization, Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Telly Savalas), to a research clinic atop a mountain in the Swiss Alps. Blofeld is brainwashing a dozen women from around the world to distribute biological warfare agents and threaten global agriculture.
Bond Girl: Bond meets and falls in love with the troubled Contessa Teresa "Tracy" di Vicenzo, played by Diana Rigg.
Notable Storyline: In a significant departure for the series, Bond and Tracy marry at the end of the film. The film is well-regarded for its emotional depth and breathtaking ski action sequences.
Ending: The movie concludes tragically when Blofeld and his henchwoman, Irma Bunt, commit a drive-by shooting that kills Tracy moments after her wedding to Bond.
