Italian 1 panel Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II
is a 1987 Canadian supernatural slasher film and a sequel to the original 1980 movie, as confirmed by the Italian-language poster which translates to "Mary Lou is back... Someone save the students of Hamilton!". The movie was originally planned as a standalone film called The Haunting of Hamilton High but was retitled to capitalize on the success of its predecessor.
Plot Summary
The Past: In 1957, high school student Mary Lou Maloney is accidentally killed during a prom night prank gone wrong.
The Return: Thirty years later, her vengeful spirit is accidentally unleashed by a new student, Vicki Carpenter (Wendy Lyon), after Vicki finds Mary Lou's old trunk and prom queen sash.
Revenge: Mary Lou possesses Vicki and sets out for revenge against those responsible for her death, including her former boyfriend, who is now the high school principal (Michael Ironside).
Key Information
Release Date: 1987
Genre: Horror, Supernatural Slasher
Main Cast: Michael Ironside, Wendy Lyon, Justin Louis, and Lisa Schrage
