The story follows Rick Martin (Gary Clarke), a teenager with a past history of fighting who has moved to a new town and joined a Corvette club. He promises his mother (Fay Wray) he won't fight again, but faces pressure from a jealous club member and a menacing motorcycle gang leader.
A tragic accident during a confrontation results in the death of a biker, for which Rick is falsely blamed. The film culminates in a beach brawl where the real culprit attempts to kill Rick with a speargun, accidentally injuring the jealous club member instead. The police intervene, the true events come to light, and Rick is cleared. The movie features a rock 'n' roll soundtrack and hot rod footage.
