The Ship: RMS Aquitania
The RMS Aquitania was a British ocean liner that had an impressive 36-year career, making her the longest-serving express ocean liner of the 20th century. A notable four-funnel ship, she was one of the few major liners to serve in both World War I and World War II, primarily as a troopship and hospital ship. The text on the bottom of the poster refers to an agent, Sercombe & Hayes in Dorchester, where one could book a passage.
