original poster for a 1968 television special called Paris Collections: Fall Fashion Preview, which was hosted by actress Lauren Bacall. The show was also referred to as "Bacall and the Boys".
The hour-long special was a CBS television event presented by Clairol and aired on August 24, 1968. It was a joint production by legendary fashion illustrator Joe Eula (who created the artwork for the poster) and fashion photographer Milton Greene. The poster's graphic design and typography were created by Bea Feitler and Dewey Seid.
The poster illustration features Lauren Bacall in a striking hot-pink, bell-bottom jumpsuit, flanked by five of the era's most prominent fashion designers: Yves Saint Laurent, Emanuel Ungaro, Marc Bohan (for Christian Dior), and Pierre Cardin.
