Antikbar one sheet before vintage travel poster, titled
"Orient Line to Australia", was designed by the acclaimed Anglo-American artist Edward McKnight Kauffer around 1934. It is an iconic example of the Art Deco and Modernist style in advertising from the inter-war period.

Style: The design features bold, abstract composition and the use of block colour, which was characteristic of the Modernist aesthetic embraced by the Orient Line in their ships' interiors and publicity materials during the 1930s. It depicts a pointing hand in the palm of which is a blue globe containing an outline of Australia.
