Film Details
Frankenstein Meets the Space Monster: Released on September 22, 1965, this sci-fi cult classic follows a Martian princess who travels to Earth (specifically Puerto Rico) to abduct women to repopulate her home planet after an atomic war killed all the Martian females. They shoot down a NASA capsule, and the damaged android astronaut (named Frank) becomes the "Frankenstein" of the title, battling a mutated alien "space monster" named Mull. The film is known as a B-movie, often listed as one of the worst films ever made, and was distributed by Allied Artists Pictures.
Curse of the Voodoo: This British-American supernatural horror film was released on the same double bill as the main feature. The plot centers on a big-game hunter who kills a sacred lion in Africa and is subsequently tormented by a tribal curse when he returns to England.
Poster Information
The poster includes classic exploitation film promotional text like "WARNING! BEWARE THEIR STARE!" and "SEE LOVE-STARVED CREATURES FROM ANOTHER GALAXY!". It advertises a "FREE SPACE SHIELD EYE PROTECTORS" gimmick to enhance the theatrical experience. The poster also includes taglines for the second film, such as "JUNGLE TERROR! NATIVE FURY! BLOOD SACRIFICE OF THE SIMBAZI!".
