The Jungfrau Railway
The Jungfrau Railway is a historic mountain rack railway that transports passengers through a long tunnel inside the Eiger and Mönch mountains to the Jungfraujoch station, often called the "Top of Europe". The railway was an engineering marvel when it was completed in 1912, a project envisioned by Swiss industrialist Adolf Guyer-Zeller. It operates year-round and offers visitors panoramic views, an Ice Palace, and the Sphinx Observatory.
